John 5 parting ways with some of his guitars – you could grab one on eBay

John 5 has teamed up with tune-o-matic and is selling a few of the guitars and basses he has used during his times with Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie and you could grab a piece of history too by joining the bidding on eBay.

Among the pieces for sale are a Black Gretsch Falcom 613BK, a Vintage 1981 Fender Stratocaster Maui Blue, a VINTAGE 1964 GIBSON THUNDERBIRD II BASS GUITAR POLARIS WHITE FINISH and a few more gems between (see full list below)

So go now, bid on these pieces, some of which are extremely rare and all from the personal collection of John 5.

Bid on a signed poster from the Drop in the Bucket event

As you will remember, a couple of weeks ago John 5 appeared at a special charity event for the Drop in the Bucket cause, with fellow rock stars Henry Rollins, Piggy D, Corey Taylor, Ginger Fish and more.

The event was to raise money and awareness for clean drinking water across the globe, especially in developing countries.

Drop in the Bucket on their Twitter page have announced an auction to bid on the posters for the event which has been signed by all the artists that took part that night.

Up for auction are some great pieces of memorabilia.  You could be the proud owner of original artwork from the Vertigo and Art of Malice albums.  This artwork includes earlier concepts as well as final stage art.  All artwork has been signed by John 5 and will end up in the ownership of one lucky fan.

J5 and Fender donate guitar for charity

John 5 and Fender have teamed up with Soundwave Festival and donated a Black Fender Squier American Standard Telecaster to be auctioned in support of the QLD Disaster Relief Appeal.

As you may be aware in December 2010  Queensland was hit by flooding and Tropical Cyclone Yasi.  Many communities have been left devastated.

The guitar, which you can start bidding on tomorrow (19 May 2011) has been signed by John 5.
