As you may remember John 5 is up for BEST GUITARIST at this year’s Revolver Magazine’s Golden Gods Awards on May 2nd at the Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. This was a people’s votes (a million times thank you for all your votes) and you will be able to see whether John 5 won that award LIVE (fingers crossed). John 5 and Rob Zombie to appear on season 12 of That Metal Show
That Metal Show have just released the guest line-up for Season 12 of VH1′s That Metal Show and John 5 and Rob Zombie are scheduled to appear. John 5 is no stranger to TMS after appearing as the guitarist several times. Actual on-air times are still TBA but according to TMS’ Eddie Truck: “We start taping in L.A. 4/27 for eight all new shows that will begin premiering on VH1 Classic June 1st at 11PM ET“.

As many John 5 fans have been hearing today, John and his family suffered a terrible violation of home and property when their Los Angeles home was burglarized while out. A number of items have been stolen, many of why are rare, of invaluable sentiment and unique to John 5. As J5 remarked earlier today on his FB page; “Unfortunately our house was robbed today, we accidentally didn’t put the alarm on, so some assholes got lucky! Whoever did this will get caught hopefully one day!” We have details, including serial numbers were possible and a larger photo of some of the items that were taken. That’s right guys and gals, Rob Zombie is to be one of the main acts appearing at the Heavy MTL Fest in Montreal, Canada on August 10-11 2013. The Lords of Salem score cover revealed
Rob Zombie has revealed the artwork for the forthcoming soundtrack to his movie The Lords of Salem. The score has been composted by Zombie guitarist John 5 and Griffin Bolce (producer who has worked with Zombie, Black Eyed Peas and Hollywood Undead). John 5 said of the score recently “The music was very challenging and sometimes there was no key signature or time signature for this music, which is all orchestral and acoustic with the exception of one death metal song. You had to be able to follow the story and create emotions for each scene with the music.” to see the full cover click (more…)
