For months John 5 fans have been anticipating the new album God Told Me To<\/em>.\u00a0 We can now reveal not only the release date but the fantastic cover art, which features a painting of John 5 by Rob Zombie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

God Told Me To<\/em>, which is the sixth solo album from the guitarist, will be released on April 10 2012.<\/p>\n

John 5 states the album will be “half acoustic and half metal and feature music that will blow you away”.\u00a0 He has already wetted the fans appetite by releasing four digital singles from the album: Beat It, Welcome to Violence, Noche Acosador and The Castle.<\/p>\n

As well as the stunning cover art by Rob Zombie<\/a>, art from the solo singles will also feature within the album.\u00a0 The single covers were created by Piggy D<\/a> and Emma (J5’s web manager) from Nineteen76-Designs<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
