John 5 will be joining a host of stars, to appear at the second annual Strange 80’s Benefit show, on Friday, October 12 at the Fonda Theatre in LA, CA.<\/p>\n

About the event<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

“Strange 80s is an annual benefit show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles which features a rotating cast of the biggest marquis talent and emerging artists in rock, performing songs from the world\u2019s favorite decade, the 80s. Strange incorporates musicians, comedians and cast members from the latest binge-worthy series in pop-culture. It\u2019s the only platform to see unfathomable supergroups comprised of members from stalwart bands. Slipknot, Fall Out Boy, The Regrettes and Nsynch, meshed into one playing a song the whole world can sing along to, or an obscure track that takes you back to that glorious time. Or for those who don\u2019t know what life was like without a cell phone, let the song and the vibe explain it.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

100% of the proceeds raised each year go to a different cause. This years charity beneficiary is 320 Changes Direction<\/a>, (co-founded by Chester Bennington’s widow Talinda –\u00a0#ChangeMentalHealth)\u00a0which helps those who suffer from mental health, depression and addiction issues. This years stars include,\u00a0Scott Ian,<\/em> Corey Taylor<\/em>, Dave Kushner, Adrian Young<\/em> and\u00a0Gary Holt<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n

As well as music, there is\u00a0an arcade installation of authentic ’80s video games, and exclusive opportunities to interact with some of your favorite artists.
