John 5 has announced the name of the first single from his new album, Careful With That Axe<\/strong>, which he has been in the studio to lay down the tracks this Spring. \u00a0The first single, entitled “Here is My Rifle<\/strong>“, will come out in late July (as will the new album). \u00a0John 5 has already been filming a video for the single with Coffin Case owner Jonny Coffin (see after the jump for images from Jonny Coffin’s Instagram<\/a> for sneak peak behind the scene images.<\/p>\n

John 5 recently spoke to\u00a0Loudwire<\/a> about the album; “Well it\u2019s coming out at the end of July and it\u2019s called \u2018Careful With That Axe\u2019 and it\u2019s just crazy, man. \u2018Careful With That Axe\u2019 and all the song titles are related around axe murders and stuff, so it all comes around and makes sense.<\/em>“. \u00a0He also said this about the single “Well with my record it\u2019s going to be \u2018This Is My Rifle.\u2019 It\u2019s really cool and I think people are going to just eat it up<\/em>.”
