John 5 shares with Classic Rock Magazine<\/a> the guitar albums that influenced, inspired and moved him. \u00a0The list which includes Van Halen,\u00a0Yngwie Malmsteen and\u00a0Joe Maphis are the albums that as John explains “….really inspired me and challenged the way I think about the guitar<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

John 5, as many fans will know has had an eclectic career, working across many genres, with many different kinds of artists. It therefore makes sense when he explains to Classic Rock about his music tastes;\u00a0\u201cI just love diversity….I guess I get bored easily. Don\u2019t just give me the same thing all the time \u2013 mix it up<\/em>.\u201d This holds true for John\u2019s taste in guitar albums: \u201cA great guitar album has to have diversity<\/em>,\u201d he says. \u201cIf I\u2019m going to listen to a record from start to finish, I need somebody to take me on a journey. Bring me on an adventure. If you can do that, you\u2019re more than a great guitar player \u2013 you\u2019re a musician<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
