Ace Frehley is releasing a new album of covers, entitled\u00a0Origins Vol. 1.\u00a0<\/em>The album features covers of tracks by Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Thin Lizzy and The Stones and other artists that Frehley has been inspired by. \u00a0Long-time friend John 5 collaborates on two tracks from the album;\u00a0Hendrix’s “Spanish Castle Music” and KISS’ “Parasite,”.\u00a0Frehley was wowed by John 5’s performance;\u00a0“He inspired me and obviously I inspire him. It was a lot of fun<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

The album comes out on April 15, also sees guest appearances from Lita Ford, Slash, Mike McCready and Ace Frehley’s former bandmate, KISS frontman Paul Stanley.<\/p>\n
