In a recent #AskJohn5 question<\/a>, John exclusively let fans know he was working on a Creatures live album. <\/p>\n

The album, titled “It’s Alive!” is the first live album released by The Creatures. It is also the first album released by John 5 to be featured on vinyl. \u201cI remember pulling up to a beautiful venue that we played in Sellersville, Pennsylvania and before we were unloading the equipment, the soundman said, \u2018Hey guys, would you like to record the show?\u2019 We said, \u2018sure that would be amazing!\u2019 I always wanted to have a really great recording of the show. We were a few weeks into the show so we were really well rehearsed, so I said, \u2018Alright guys, let\u2019s not jump around. Let\u2019s just really try to get a great performance because we only have one shot – no other shows – if we mess up!\u2019 So, we explained to them that we would be recording. You can hear that on the recording of the album, which makes it very magical. It came out amazingly! That\u2019s the magic of live albums to me – capturing the performance<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Creatures will be touring in 2018<\/a> to promote the album.<\/p>\n

Here are the important details:<\/p>\n

  • The album will be available on double LP coloured vinyl, and CD.<\/li>\n
  • You can pre-order the album at the official John 5 store now: john-5.com\/store\/<\/a>. It will be released on January 25th and on the same day on digital formats (streaming and purchasing). <\/li>\n

    There will also be available to purchase separately, an amazing 24-page full-color tour book covering the tour journeys so far.<\/p>\n
