 Hollywood glam rockers Steel Panther<\/a><\/strong> have today announced the huge news to Australian fans that seasoned guitar virtuoso John 5<\/strong> will support their On The Prowl<\/em> <\/strong>tour, hitting the country in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After many sold out and added dates across Europe and the US, Steel Panther are set to deliver On The Prowl<\/em> down under with a series of shows kicking off at Metro City<\/strong> in Perth on October 18<\/strong>, before hitting AEC Theatre<\/strong> in Adelaide on October 21,<\/strong> Hordern Pavilion<\/strong> in Sydney on October 23<\/strong> and Brisbane\u2019s Fortitude Music Hall<\/strong> on October 24,<\/strong> rounding off the tour in Melbourne at Margaret Court Arena<\/strong> on Saturday 26 October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For almost 30 years, John 5 has been one of the most in-demand guitar players on the planet. As well as a guitarist for hire, \u20185\u2019 has shared the stage as axe-man for Rob Zombie<\/strong>, Marilyn Manson<\/strong>, Rob Halford <\/strong>and now Motley Cr\u00fce<\/strong>. He has also worked with an impressive array of names, from all walks of music, including KD Lang<\/strong>, Rod Stewart<\/strong>, Dave Lee Roth<\/strong>, Alice Cooper<\/strong>, Ricky Martin<\/strong>, Dolly Parton<\/strong> and Lynyrd Skynyrd<\/strong>. To call John 5 a shredder does not do him justice. There\u2019s little he can\u2019t put his hand to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of his experience as a session musician, \u20185\u2019 has got a long list of world class collabs under his best, including co-writes with the likes of Rod Stewart<\/strong>, Leah Andreone<\/strong>, Paul Stanley<\/strong>, Scorpions, <\/strong>and M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, he will be joining the planet\u2019s most notorious, hilarious, and downright outrageous metal band, Steel Panther, on the Australian leg of their riotous On The Prowl<\/em> World Tour. After a monumental run of US and European dates, America\u2019s great musical export will bring their live show to Australian cities this October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the uninitiated – Steel Panther was formed in 2000. Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicentre for rock n\u2019 roll in all its debauchery and glamour, they have established themselves as the world\u2019s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steel Panther have released six full-length studio albums, sold out shows across the world, achieved platinum-level YouTube status, and appeared on high-profile television appearances such as Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/strong>, Larry King Now<\/strong>, Fox NFL Sunday <\/strong>and as semi-finalists on the 2023 Season 18 of America\u2019s Got Talent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
