Following a review of our social media we have decided to start to decommission the official John 5 myspace page<\/a>.<\/p>\n The reasons are many, including the fact that interest in the page has been slowly but steadily declining – the audience hits, comments etc are minimal in comparison to a couple of years ago.\u00a0 The nature of Myspace has changed quite a lot, and has seen a draw away from the audience generated social media to a more corporate feel which is not as organic as it once was.\u00a0 <\/p>\n Further, the advent and success of Facebook<\/a> and Twitter<\/a> as well as social intergration here at the official site means we reach a bigger and more engaged audience on other social networks.<\/p>\n It is with this and other factors in mind that a month from today, the official John 5 myspace page will close.\u00a0 We want to thank everyone who has spent the time visiting, commenting and making it a great experience over the years.\u00a0 At it’s peak it was a great way to reach out to the fans.
