It has been one of the goals of the site to make sure there is a good user experience – IE: we want the fan’s to get involved. One of the ways we have done this is to integrate the social media sites together to the news, and we have allowed in story comments.\u00a0 We have also reinstated the forum<\/a> to which we are getting a small but steady usage.<\/p>\n

When we closed the John Lowery Facebook page one concern many fans brought up was how would they be able to share an image.\u00a0 Well we are putting on trial a new plugin called NextGEN Public Uploader.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

This allows, by way of a very simple form on the sidebar of the site, users to upload images from their machine and get it onto a gallery we have called “Fan Photos<\/a>“.\u00a0 This is a moderated gallery<\/a> – your picture will be sent to an assigned email address to await moderation – IE: approval to go live.<\/p>\n
