On the recent Twins of Evil tour, fans going to the show will have seen two new guitars that John 5 of Rob Zombie has been using.
The Lava Tele and the LED Tele have been part of key appearances at the shows. As a result we have had a lot of interest from you the fans asking about the guitars. So we chatted with the maker of the custom pieces – Ken Meyer of Meyer Guitars.
Ken Meyer is a full time firefighter Captain in the city of Warren, Detroit. In 1979 he began to build guitars as a hobby, a hobby that has seen him produce pieces for the Slash tour with Bobby Schneck and more recently with Paul Stanley of KISS on the recent ‘Monster’ album. (more…)

Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson will be performing KUPD’s first annual Desert Uprising show on September 28 (now Ginger knows how he will be spending his birthday).
The two day event is the first show to be announced for a late 2012 Rob Zombie tour and more dates will be announced next Friday.
Tickets for Desert Uprising are available to purchase on July 13.

Metal heavyweights ROB ZOMBIE and MEGADETH have just announced a co-headlining tour guaranteed to raise the temperature on the planet. The trek, which marks the first time the two bands have toured together, kicks off Friday, May 11 in Holmdel, NJ and encompasses high-profile appearances at several rock festivals including M3 Rock Festival, Rock On The Range and wraps Saturday, May 26 at Rocklahoma. ROB ZOMBIE will headline Rocklahoma, co-headline Rock On The Range (with Incubus), and will close all shows on the MEGADETH dates. A complete list of dates is below.
Rocklahomahave announced their line-up for this year and yes you’ve guessed it, the ears will be bleed with the sound of “Zombie, Zombie, Zombie”.
Rocklahoma is a three-day festival which this year will be on May 25-27 at “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma.
Tickets for general admission and VIP will go on sale February 24 2012 (10am CST) via Ticketmaster and Rocklahoma.com.

The band will be co-headliners over the festival weekend. Rob Zombie spoke to Blabbermouth and said “If you thought last time was a blast, then this time we are gonna blow your fucking mind”.
The festival will take place on May 18th, 19th and 20th and will also feature bands such as Lacuna Coil and fellow co-headliners Incubus, Shinedown and Marilyn Manson.
