David Lee Roth has released a previously unheard track from 2007 called “Nothing Could Have Stopped Us Back Then Anyway..”
The nostalgic song, looking back to his days in Van Halen, features John 5 on guitars and drums from original DLR band member, drummer Gregg Bissonette.
John 5 and Roth have also released a music video. Speaking recently 5 said “Honored to be a part of this amazing piece of history. When I wrote the song with Dave, I knew it was something very special. I created this video on the tour bus as a tribute with Mike Savage. Very proud to share it with everyone.”
The song is also available to listen on music streaming platforms.
