I’m so honored that I got the opportunity to play guitar on one of the songs on the upcoming @DollyParton album. I’ve been listening to Dolly ever since I can remember. Words cannot describe how exciting this is.

John 5 has confirmed he has contributed to legendary country star Dolly Parton’s upcoming rock inspired album. Dolly teased the album after she was nominated and accepted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. Speaking at the time Parton said; “…if I do [get in], I’ll immediately, next year, have to put out a great rock and roll album — which I’ve wanted to do for years, like a Linda Ronstadt or Heart kind of thing. So this may have been just a God-wink for me to go ahead and do that. It’s just nice to be nominated.”
John 5 is just the latest artist to announce their part on the, as yet, untitled album. Nikki Sixx has confirmed he is playing bass on one of the tracks and Journey’s former singer Steve Perry has laid down vocals too.
As yet there are no details on when the album will drop. Follow Dolly Parton on social media to find out more.
