Ace Frehley is releasing a new album of covers, entitled Origins Vol. 1. The album features covers of tracks by Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Thin Lizzy and The Stones and other artists that Frehley has been inspired by.  Long-time friend John 5 collaborates on two tracks from the album; Hendrix’s “Spanish Castle Music” and KISS’ “Parasite,”. Frehley was wowed by John 5’s performance; “He inspired me and obviously I inspire him. It was a lot of fun.”

The album comes out on April 15, also sees guest appearances from Lita Ford, Slash, Mike McCready and Ace Frehley’s former bandmate, KISS frontman Paul Stanley.
