As with “Zoinks!”, the “I Am John 5” video was animated, written and directed by Disney animator Brett Boggs (Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph), with scoring by Fred Coury and recording/mixing by Barry Pointer. The mad scientist in the “I Am John 5” video is voice acted by none other than Butch Patrick, a.k.a. the great Eddie Munster, himself.

JOHN 5 says about the video: “In this video, I am transformed into a mechanical monster and controlled by the mad scientist – performed by Butch Patrick aka Eddie Munster – to destroy Hollywood! I’m programmed with my laser beam guitar to destroy everything in my path! You’ll have to watch to see what happens…”

The video/single is the third to be released by John 5 and The Creatures this year, in anticipation of their next album ‘Invasion’ which is due out in Summer 2019.
‘I am John 5’ has again been directed and animated by Disney animator Brett Boggs (Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph), with a score by Fred Coury. The single is part of a series of music video releases just like 2017’s Season of the Witch. ‘Invasion’, the new full length album is due out in Summer 2019. It has been produced and mixed by Barry Pointer.

John 5 making animated video for new Creatures Track
John 5 has been busy recording voices for an animated video currently in the making for John 5 and The Creatures.
Yesterday he was joined by his wife Rita, Nikki Sixx, Fred Coury and Susan Olsen as they began tracking.
The video and name of the track being animated have not yet been released but more news is coming soon to john-5.com
