Welcome John 5 fans to the brand new look john-5.com website.  Over the past month a brand new build has taken place, completely reworking all pages of the site to bring you a more streamlined, refreshed content site but still full of the fun information you come here for.

God Told Me To release date and cover revealed

For months John 5 fans have been anticipating the new album God Told Me To.  We can now reveal not only the release date but the fantastic cover art, which features a painting of John 5 by Rob Zombie.

God Told Me To, which is the sixth solo album from the guitarist, will be released on April 10 2012.

John 5 states the album will be “half acoustic and half metal and feature music that will blow you away”.  He has already wetted the fans appetite by releasing four digital singles from the album: Beat It, Welcome to Violence, Noche Acosador and The Castle.

As well as the stunning cover art by Rob Zombie, art from the solo singles will also feature within the album.  The single covers were created by Piggy D and Emma (J5’s web manager) from Nineteen76-Designs.

The Castle – the new single from John 5 coming December 20

John 5 fans the new single from John 5 will be coming December 20.

‘The Castle’ is the fourth single to be released from the eagerly awaited album ‘God Told Me To’. Previous releases have included the cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’, and two original materials including ‘Welcome to Violence’ and the stunning ‘Noche Acosador’.

‘The Castle’ will be available for download from all good online music retailers.  More details coming soon.

The single cover has been again been created by Emma from Nineteen76-Designs (J5’s web manager) It uses an image from photographer Ray Gutierrez of Strange Beautiful Art.  Ray is responsible for the photographer for The Art of Malice

Noche Acosador out now

Noche Acosador the eagerly awaited third single from John 5, from his forthcoming album “God Told Me To” is available for purchase from today (November 1st) from all good online music retailers (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc).

The single is a marked difference from John 5’s previous work and features a full acoustic, Spanish style guitar. The title translates to “Night Stalker”. (more…)

New look to John-5.com

The first stage of the new look John 5 site went live today.  Timed specifically to coincide with the news about the new single Beat It, the design is now in.  The next stage over the next few weeks will be a revamp of all pages and content.
