“Blasting through a 15 song set covering much of his solo catalog including a guitar solo, John 5 and the Creatures (Ian Ross on Bass, Logan Nix on Drums) were on fire the whole night jamming incredible complicated yet tasty ear sounds that kept you interested and not bored to a bunch of guys instrument wanking. These were instrumental rock greats.”

Season of the Witch OUT TODAY – John 5 and The Creatures start 35 date tour
Season Of The Witch, the brand new full-length instrumental solo album from world-renowned guitarist JOHN 5, is out today and can be ordered on CD via the John 5 store, on Amazon MP3, iTunes and for streaming on Spotify. Season Of The Witch features JOHN 5’s backing band The Creatures (bassist Ian Ross and drummer Rodger Carter), and features experimentation with various genres – including western swing, Spanish flamenco, heavy metal and more – thoroughly showcasing JOHN 5’s diverse virtuosic abilities.

JOHN 5 took a different approach with the release of Season Of The Witch, choosing to share his new music with fans throughout 2016 by releasing several tracks individually in the form of various music videos. Tracks/videos released include the fast-paced “Black Grass Plague”, downtempo, introspective “Behind The Nut Love”, hard rocking “Now Fear This”, jazz fusion marathon “Here’s To The Crazy Ones” (featuring a bit of “monkeying around”), heavy metal Claymation shredfest “Making Monsters”, and last but not least, the whiskey-soaked “Hell Haw”. The videos have garnered nearly a million views, collectively.
“Since music is so visual nowadays, I thought these videos would be the best way to get my music out there, and it seems to have worked – now everybody knows the songs on the record,” states JOHN 5. “I put so much work into this record with the videos, the artwork, the songwriting and the playing – out of my catalog, this is by far my favorite solo record.”

That’s right John 5 fans, not one, or two or three, but SIX new dates are being added to the forthcoming John 5 and The Creatures tour in support of the album “Season of the Witch”.
The dates will include visits to Phoenix, Charlotte, Greensboro, Wilmington, Virginia Beach and Richmond.

Season of the Witch track listing revealed
John 5 and The Creatures will be releasing their new album Season of the Witch on March 3, 2017 and we can now show you the tracklist from the album.
These include the 2016 single releases that were put out between touring, including Black Grass Plague, Hell Haw and Making Monsters, as well as new tracks which include Guitars, Tits And Monsters, and John 5’s homage to his late dog Jasper, Ode To Jasper.
John 5 and The Creatures are heading out on the road in March and April in support of the album, and you can see a full list of tour dates here (with more to be announced SOON).

John 5 and The Creatures will be stopping by at The Agora Ballroom on April 12, 2017 as part of their upcoming 2017 tour to promote their album “Season of the Witch” which is coming out on March 3rd.
This adds to the other dates announced at the end of 2016.

The video has been directed by Josh Hasty, whom Rob Zombie and John 5 fans will be aware directed the recent “In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn” behind the scenes making of documentary for Rob Zombie’s movie 31.
